Altrua HealthShare is a nationwide faith-based membership of dynamic individuals and families who share in each other’s medical needs.

Altrua HealthShare Ministries’ members make voluntary contributions each month creating an escrow account for their family.

Your monthly contribution goes into your FDIC-insured individual bank account and is then distributed to help others in need receive the healthcare they require. Altrua members are matched with medical expenses submitted by your fellow members via our secure online portal.

I do not take a stance on ANY plan that I help you select. My job is to be apolitical and unbiased on your behalf. I strictly want to offer different and affordable options.

How Altrua Healthshare Works

My goal is to get people covered. That’s why in addition to marketplace health insurance plans, I can also offer a low-cost alternative from Altrua.

This is how Altrua works: members pay into an escrow on a monthly basis (your monthly premium) and when you receive medical care, the doctor submits a claim to Altrua and Altrua pays the bill.

Not everything is covered, but most basic medical care is, such as doctor visits, childbirth and prescriptions. Plans typically range from $100-$200 a month.

Altrua is not right for everyone, but it could be the best fit for people:
